Just another day in New York

So we have been going on our little mini-breaks but inbetween these we are still hanging out in New York.  A lot of the hanging out has mainly been around Queens and Brooklyn but we thought we would head into Manhattan as it was a Saturday which meant Flea Market Day!  YAY!  We thought we would check out Hell's Kitchen Flea Market having already been to the two over Brooklyn way.  The market was much smaller than expected but it did have some cool stuff.

After the market we met up with one of Marc's friends, Luke, for lunch near Chelsea Market.  Luke had to head off for the afternoon so Marc and I headed into the Meatpacking district in search of a rooftop bar.  Marc found the Plunge Bar on the roof of the Hotel Gansevoort.  It had such a lovely view and was very relaxing.  We also had a great view of the nearby gay rooftop bar.  Marc was welcomed but they were less accepting of my lady parts.

The super packed and super fun gay pool party

As we were in the Meatpacking district we thought we should check out the High Line.  It's a park built on an old railway line.  I visited the park in 2010 when I was in New York with the mother and Anastasia.  Since then they have extended it from W 20th Street all the way to W 34th Street.
